UX Evangelism

Challenge:
User experience was new to the organization. The internal departments and teams I was to work with either were not aware of UX or had misconceptions of what UX really was nor its benefits.

Goal & Solution:
In order to garner a broader acceptance of UX as a discipline and apply the principles to all 140 products, I knew an awareness campaign was necessary.

Explainer videos in the form of television kiosks played throughout the day, campaign posters were placed in multiple buildings and corridors and UX meetups and brown-bag luncheon took place across multiple locations within Disney to establish cross-sharing of information and influence across the organization.
