UX Artifacts
Challenge:
As the team grew and we used outside vendors for the initial delivery of UX items, it became clear that the artifacts were disjointed, not consistent and at times, did not adhere to brand.
Moreover, we needed a way to create templates to give to outside vendors, contractors and non-UX teams so that they could contribute and remain consistent with UX deliverables.
Goal & Solution:
To this end, I began gathering artifacts and deliverables from all of the projects. Our team leads examined each artifact and embarked on creating template deliverables to become standard UX output for all applicable projects.

Customer interviews, competitive analysis and responsive formats were created. Personas were created for each of the customer and end-user types, along with affinity diagrams and mental models – which helped to determine and prioritize future features in a responsive design format.
These templates, in various file formats, serve to get a project up and running faster as well as unify the experience across the division as a whole.
